February 8th I started out on my first hike for Six Pack of Peaks: New England on the Cheshire Harbor Trail up to Mount Greylock Summit. The Trail had been broken out after recent snowfalls. Trail was well packed down from others and found it easy traveling with micro spikes! Did not need snowshoes nor did I need a headlamp. Hike was done at night under clear skies and a winter full moon. The weather was perfect with some rolling clouds and wind at the summit.

The hike was challenging as it was my first night hike up Mount Greylock in the winter. I had some views that were amazing and it was worth every step. Definitely recommend this hike to others! Mount Greylock doesn’t disappoint!
