Wear layers, bring hiking poles, & don’t forget your microspikes!  This is a challenging and fun winter hike – I don’t think any other season would compare.  Just be prepared for slippery ice and steep inclines.  You’ll be rewarded with panoramic views, wintery landscapes, and the 1500 year old Wally Waldron Tree.
