This 8 miles round trip hike was along the PCT. Although we have done this hike a few times before, yesterday was the first time we met several other hikers doing the BIG hike over 4+ months. Interesting conversations made the time go by really fast. Before we knew we were on top admiring the most incredible views in all directions. Not a bit of wind this time. It was a huge plus meeting a man (sorry didn't get his name) who knew all the mountains, had hiked them several times over.  We shared stories and compared notes, snapped a few photos, had lunch and were back at the parking lot by 11 am. Few patches of snow here and there but nothing to worry about. On the way back we even picked up a PCT hitchhiker from Ohio. Alyson was taking a break from school and going on this awesome 2,650 mile adventure. She was 3 weeks into it. This was a WOW kind of day!
