My wife has long wanted to try out an ebike, and we got a chance to do that, riding 30 miles on the Lamoelle Valley Rail Trail in northern Vermont. We both had a blast, and the trail itself was beautiful.
The bikes were pedal assist (no throttle), so the harder you pedaled the more assistance the motor provided. Stop pedaling = no assistance.
