Trail Conditions: We saw at least 5 hikers slipped descending Baldy Bowl during our ascent. The trail was slippery.

  1. Surprisingly, no bugs on the trail
  2. The Sierra Ski Hut was a pleasant stop to get to the top. A very nice hut with the sound of water flowing. This was a pleasant surprise.
  3. The ascent took us (husband and son, 13-year-old) a while. It was a tough ascent for me. But, we made it work.
  4. The summit was beautiful and worth the hike.
  5. The Devils Backbone trail seemed easier to ascent. But, we will not change a thing of how we hiked Mt. San Antonio.
