Register now for the 2018 Colorado Rockies Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge

Colorado Six-Pack of Peaks ChallengeIt's here! Early-bird registration for the 2018 Colorado Rockies Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge is now open!

Good news for 2017 challengers, you are automatically enrolled in our 2018 challenge — gratis!

The peaks for this year's challenge have changed a bit. Here's the lineup:

  1. Bergen Peak
  2. Rocky Mountain
  3. Birthday Peak
  4. Horseshoe Mountain
  5. Mount Sherman – NEW for 2018!
  6. Grays Peak

We swapped out Mount Sherman for Mount Bierstadt. For those who have already hiked Mount Bierstadt, you know how crowded it can get. Leave No Trace included Bierstadt on their “Hot Spots” list in 2015, to flag it for remediation due to overuse.

Mount Sherman is considered the easiest 14er, and as an added bonus, it's much less crowded. If that wasn't enough, it's also near the trailhead for peak #4 — Horseshoe Mountain, making it possible to hike both in single a weekend.
