Cold weather makes firm ice so micro spikes made this hike a blast. Windy at te top but clear views of rainier and surrounding mountains.

New Years Hike with my doggo to the summit. Trail had snow coverage starting just below the meadow. Great way to start the year!
The trail was in good condition; it was cold, and the wind was pretty severe at the top. We used microspikes for the final mile

Trail is in good condition. Started early in the AM with clear weather but it did get overcast and rainy as I was coming down.
