Cuyamaca peak

We spent the previous night at the campsite and go onto the trail around 0700. Great view of the June gloom.

Bugs were terrible. Definitely carry a net or a towel.  

We started hike at 9 am with cool weather and  half way up came across a massive swarm of bees on the trail and dropped

It was pretty hot and there were lots of bugs but man was the view worth it. Just spectacular

Parked inside the campground with $10 parking fee. Started the hike midday with gradual climb. Warm weather but not hot & not too windy. A
