  Looking for Recos on Least Confusing Baldy Trail

  Hey all,

  I hiked Baldy with a few friends last July and found the trail EXTREMELY poorly marked. I’m planning on hiking it solo this year but I’m a bit worried about keeping my bearings.

  HikingGuy has a step by step for Devil’s Backbone Trail > Baldy Bowl Trail > Sierra Club Ski Hut > Manker Flats. We took the reverse route last year which I liked because we were able to stop at a proper restroom at the restaurant (and get some fries) before taking the ski lift back down to the parking lot. Does anyone have fool-proof directions for Baldy or should I go with HikingGuy’s directions so I have a point of reference to follow?
