Hike More. Get Strong. Do Good.
The idea for the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge began as a way to train for bigger adventures. I used it as a part of a training regimen for a through-hike of the John Muir Trail. Since then, others have joined the challenge to help them prepare for Mt Whitney or other big adventures. Many more find the challenge an adventure in itself!
Completing the challenge in a single season is a feat that few can claim. You'll explore mountains and areas that you might not have otherwise visited. And you'll gain great trail cred!
We currently have challenges in Southern California, Northern California, Oregon, Colorado, and New England, with more in the works. You can learn more and register for one of our challenges at sixpackofpeaks.com.
Each challenge has three registration levels. The Starter level gives you access to log and track your hikes, earn virtual badges for your profile and entry in our monthly gear giveaways. The Explorer level includes a welcome packet with a challenge patch, stickers, and Leave No Trace reference card. And the Trailblazer level adds a t-shirt.
No matter which level you select, a portion of the proceeds supports the good work of Big City Mountaineers, a non-profit that helps give under-served youth a chance to experience the wilderness first hand. So you'll be doing good while you flex your adventure muscles.
