This trail is 98% double track, 1% single track, and 1% boulder scramble to the summit. The trail travels through chaparral, giant cedar trees and varied terrain. The views of San Diego County and beyond are exceptional.

On our way into the Los Coyotes Reservation we saw wild turkeys and deer. The campground remains closed due to COVID, but the trail was open and the weather perfect.

We hiked (socially distanced) with Will and Shannon — aka @theTacoSlayers.  The icing on the cake? Will made shredded beef tacos for us near the summit! ????????????
