It was a beautiful day. A crisp breeze and plenty of fresh air. The hike is exhilarating. A lot of fun scampering up and down some precarious sections. Gloves are highly recommended for the cables that help you attain your goal of the summit. It is a Gorgeous 360 view. A train was rolling by that gave an added bonus.

After the hike I would highly suggest Rooster Cogburns Ostrich ranch. When you leave the park make an immediate right on the frontage road that says dead end. It was hilarious and a lot of fun. Donkeys, deer, goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits, ducks, parakeets, manta rays, and of course the crazy ostriches. So much fun and well worth the entrance fee.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hike and the ostrich farm. A great way to spend the day.
