Great hike with the The Usual Suspect Hiking Club. Started out from Sukat Road at the Los Coyote Campground. (Note $10 per person to enter. Parking was vast.)
The first few miles had steady elevation, the trail had intermittent patches of snow and some ice. Plenty of beautiful trees, especially cedar.
Cool tower on the peak. Weather was great, clear skies with great views of surrounding mountains and the Salton Sea.
