My group arrived at the trailhead around 6:15 am. The sun hadn’t risen yet and the lower and middle parking levels were almost full. We started down towards Sturtevant Falls, hiked up to the observatory then continued around and down Upper Creek Trail. The trail was well kept with signs at major forks. Most of the trail was shaded until our descent down Upper Creek. Views were amazing as the sky was clear enough to see the ocean. Overall it was fun and challenging hike.
