Snow Intermittent snow - not hard to cross

Started at 7am. Hit the trail and went straight up for 2 miles. After that it levels out more or less which was a relief. Not much shade first 2 miles either.  After you turn the corner you hit some shade  trees for a couple miles. Watched a few jets fly through the canyons. Made unto the lookout tower and the turned right to the summit. Amazing views. North and south. A tough hike but well with the views.
