Little Squish’s First six pack: Woodson

This was a great hike!  My dad helped route the Fry-Koegel trail, which we took to avoid some of the Potato Chip Rock crowds, back when it was first cut in.  They did a good job; the route is gorgeous and not hard to navigate.  Little Squish had a great time playing with flowers and looking at all the beautiful greenery in the creekbed area, and was well into a nap when we got to the exposed slope on the Poway side.

Some mosquitos that looked like dragonflies in the creek area, but they oddly didn’t seem interested in gobbling us up, just buzzing around being annoying.  It had rained that morning so not terribly surprising to see them.

Overall a gorgeous hike on a gorgeous day.
