While everyone was having a case of the Mondays, I hiked up to Strawberry Peak.
It was a clear, warm day, and the trail was straightforward and well marked. Although I have hiked to the saddle before to summit Mount Lawlor, I was still a little surprised by the number of false summits and the elevation gain up to the summit. I made it to the summit in exactly 2 hours, enjoyed the views and had a snack, then back down the way I came!
Everyday in the San Gabriels is a wonderful day, and this day was no exception!
