Beautiful clear day up to San Bernardino, where the cool breeze just seemed to help us up the mountain. We needed it too, as we were all carrying 35 lb backpacking to San B over to San G to finish the challenge. We took our time throughout the day and finally summited late in the afternoon. We knew that we had a few more miles before we set up camp and made our way to East San Bernardino Peak. A little after going to ESBP, we decided on setting up camp where we could watch the sunset. We got lucky as we finished the hike with an amazing sunset, dinner and drinks amongst friends and the largest full moon we could imagine raising high amongst the trees. Pure joy!!
