There was only a 20 percent chance of rain that day. Once on the trail, the rain became heavier. I definitely suggest to always take a waterproof windbreaker and gloves. My trekking poles really saved our lives. As we headed up the summit, there was some definite rock scrambling. The rain was getting rather heavy; it looked like chocolate milk was streaming down the peak. We also encountered quite a bit of fog. Not optimal weather, but we conquered!
