To start, we got to the parking lot which was a little obscure and very rocky (I do not recommend driving a Toyota Corolla or anything close to this!) at 6:30am and it was already full! So go very early when you do go. The trail is very well maintained so that was good but man is this a long hike! The last two miles really killed a few of us but we made it! The weather got warm too and there is not as much tree cover as I would like so wear lots of sunscreen and reapply often!
