My group and I met up at 5:30 a.m. at the Icehouse Canyon trailhead parking lot. It was full by 6:00 a.m. Lots of people. It was a nice and cool Sunday,Perfect conditions for a great hike. Many were wearing a mask while they hike. Most did not. There were snow patches on the side of the path on the very too but it did not interfere with the hike. It’s never easy to summit Cucamonga Peak but my group and I enjoyed it very much. Making it to the top, enjoying the breathtaking views and taking pictures on those rocks make all the pain worthy.
