Snowfields to cross – could be difficult

There are patches of snow on at the trail at the last mile or so. We decided to cut the switchbacks because we feel safer than walking through a narrow ridge of snow. Someone took the American  flag on top but the summit sign is still there. Also bring a head net, the bugs are out!
