Beautiful day for a hike a little on the warm side but worth the scenery and reward at the top. Arrive  early as it is a very popular trail and you may find a line at the top to get a picture on the rock. I have done this hike a few times it’s easier and a little longer if you go through the Poway side. If you go through the Ramona it’s shorter and does have an incline. Beat the heat and the crowd start your hike early.
