Headed out to Volcan after completing Mt. Woodson. This was a much prettier hike. I really enjoyed the scenery. The dandelions were humongous. It was windy at the top but a nice change from the heat and glaring sun. I was on the peak by myself and enjoyed the quiet time. However, there were so many rattlesnakes- definitely a little alarming.
