Bagged my third original Six Pack of Peaks and eleventh overall with Cucamonga. We got to the trail head around 5:20am and by the time we started the hike at 5:30 the parking lot was pretty much full. With that said the hike up was not very crowded and the weather was chilly, but pleasant to be hiking in. However, at the Icehouse saddle it was very windy and very cold and I only stopped for a brief break before heading to Cucamonga. There was sporadic gust of cold wind over the last mile and half of the hike, but fortunately the peak wasn't too bad. Coming down the trail was quite crowded until I got to the little saddle between Big Horn and Cucamonga. If you are going to hike this on a Saturday, be prepared for lots of people enjoying the hike with you.
Another great hike and a great day!
