I really think that the Falling Waters and Old Bridal trails are two of the most difficult trails in all of the Whites (which makes it NE too!). Its steep, the granite is relentless, and its been worn smooth in many places making it dangerous and slippery. But. The ridge is 100% worth the difficulty and knee-rending descent. There is a reason why the ridge is so popular. Absolutely spectacular views!
