Long day ! Did this as a day hike. Living in the Phoenix area meant I had to wake up way early and 3 hr drive to be @ the trailhead by 6:45-7 am. Main Parking lot was almost full. Was perfect weather, little chilly in the morning but as you start to hike you do get warm, once you are above the tree line it got windy and at the summit needed to have a puffy layer on.. beware of the false summits – raises your hope when you are gasping for O2 . Views from the summit were spectacular and was very clear ! There was a good crowd on the trail and at the summit.
