The weather was amazing as we started up the trail of rocks. We passed many old cabins and the creek. The gain was nice and gradual. There was a small amount of scrambling, some drop-offs, and amazing views! As we got closer to the top we encountered a couple of patches of snow on the trail. Poles were helpful but microspikes were not needed. I really enjoyed the views at the top with the boulders. Made for some great pictures too! The way down was pleasant until we hit the last couple of miles going down the very rocky trail. I will definitely hike this again for the views alone.
