This was my 4th time up to Muir! It still blows me away how beautiful it is up there. I enjoyed it as a day hike without the heavy climbing pack I carried the last 3 times! It is oddly quiet without the guide services running summit trips this year. However there was a lot of SAR activity down lower on the mountain looking for those missing hikers. Snow conditions were to slushy for glisading sadly.
