Started the trail at 5:30am and finished right at Noon, so right at 6.5 hours with a good little rest at the summit to take in the view and get some calories in. This is a great step up after you've completed the Mission Trails 5 Peaks and are itching for something more challenging. I was happy to have around 100 oz of water and would recommend others have the same and a snack as well. My HRM reports a calorie burn of 3454. The last hour was HOT, if I did this one again (in July), I'd want to start a bit earlier, the sun was pretty intense on tired legs. Flying ants at the very tip top, but easy enough to avoid. The big climbs are tough on the way up, but don't underestimate that last scramble to the top either. I had a good time!
