What can I say about Baldy… This is my second time summiting this mountain and I am still afraid of Devil's Backbone and that narrow section at the turn of Devil's Backbone.  Still, I love this mountain.  My plan initially was to take Baldy Bowl / Ski Hut up and Devil's Backbone done… I've heard this is easier  and shorter than doing San Antonio Falls to Devil's Backbone in and out.   Maybe next year, I'll try that route…  As for weather… it was kind of perfect, still hot but very manageable.  The American Flag Sign at the summit was life, very pretty and very well detailed.  Thank you whoever made it and brought it up.   There were a bunch of bugs at the summit that annoyed me while I was trying to recovery and get some calories in before descending; and the heat starting blazing once at summit.  Stayed for about 30 minutes and left.  This mountain definitely lives up to all the hype.
