This is a dangerous trail, do not take. I do not mean as in you may die but high chance of hurting a limb.

We took a new hiker with us. Thought we would take an easy trail to encourage the new comer. Thought 3,000 feet, we can breath. 10 miles, that is not so bad. Boy did I get this wrong.
Checked the weather before we went, said mid 90's. It was off by 10 degrees, mid 100's,  This really makes a difference. Got a late start, 7:30, no big deal, it is an easy trail, wrong again.
Read others talking about the trail. When they talk about using all fours to climb the the last part, I thought they were being dramatic. I was wrong.
Have a really good hiker tell me she got hurt on this trail. I thought, so she fell, can do that on any trail. Wrong, when a good hiker says the trail did it, believe.
It took longer then it should have because a hiker got hurt coming down. A helicopter took her out. We waited for her to be taken away as to not be in the way. When the helicopter was lifting her I took video, so i have no picture of this. The picture is from when they took a pack to make sure it is safe.
The trails are not maintained. The trail at the end looks like it once was doable but then washed away to make more of a slide.

On the good side, lots of flowers. Trail is nice in the middle. At the top you have a great view, can see Catalina.  We saw what looks like a part of an airplane wing more then half way on the trail. The fourth picture is part of the beginning of the trail. Look at the top left you can see the path going away.
