Although I still have 2 peaks to go, this one is currently tied for 1st as my favorite! I love that you are “lost” in the woods for most of the trail! I didnt even take pictures because I was so caught up on how beautiful it was! Started at 5am and it took approx 5 hours to submit, which could have been less but I was in no hurry and stayed with my group. Going up was not as bad as I though considering its the shortest, steepest trail but going down is another story. BRING POLES, protect your knees if you go down this route. There is plenty of shade but now that summer is here I would encourage you to start early. No shade, very little at the peak and the rock scrambling was a first for me, but it was fun. I enjoy new things. Bring plenty of water. There is one stream but its suspect unless you really trust your filteration system. All in all great hike!
