Did this as an overnight backpack trip camping at the Limber Pine Bench Camp. We started a little before 8am. The parking area at the trail head was already full so we parked on the side of the road. Beautiful weather and the trail is very well maintained and easy to hike. The elevation gain is gradual and much easier on your body than some of the other tougher peaks. Made it to camp and took a long rest and then made our way to the summit to catch the sunset and minimize crowds. My buddy and I were the only two at the summit and had the whole trail to ourselves all the way back down to camp. Comfortable temps and no winds during the night. My 1st time doing San Bernardino Peak and it was a top notch trail.
