Decided to do a Sunday peak hike with a friend. My intentions were to do the 11 mile route but it was closed. Accidentally ended up doing the 19+ mile hike without realizing. We both made it to Wellman's, I took the rest of the 2 mile trek up, took pics and came back. We hung out for a while, collected ourselves and headed down in the afternoon. Took about 11 hours. Not bad for my longest, most treacherous hike yet. Blisters galore but the views were magnificent. Almost got attacked by a rattlesnake but lived to tell the tale.
