Sunday in the Green Mountain State

Excellent hike up Camel’s Hump. Hiked with a group of 5 friends starting a Burrows Trail up to Long Trail. An early morning start meant we had the trail to ourselves the whole way up. A pretty warm morning with some cloud cover so it was muggy to start; once we got out of the tree line the clouds moved in but the breeze was wonderful. Some scramble at the top but nothing we couldn’t handle. The start of the trail was gradual and very well marked. Only a handful of people at the top so we go to take our time and enjoy ourselves. Took us about 4 hours in all.
