Strawberry peak was lovely! First few miles were really flat, chill and easy. Sadly, we chose the hottest day to do this hike!!! We started at 7:30am and it was easily 90-100degrees by 11am. The air coming off the rocks was so hot. The actual summit was not bad. The scramble was mild. The quick change in elevation and temperature was quite the challenge tho! But…. we met not 1 not 2 but THREE other hikers doing the challenge! Nice to be suffering in the heat with friends 🙂 overall a great day and wonderful scenery. I would recommend not going during a heat wave!
