Hiked with a group

this hike is mostly on a fire access road with no coverage. Bad idea to do this during the summer. We started early to beat the heat but it was too hot and almost unbearable. The first 2 miles you have steep elevation gain then you reach the fire access road which is the remaining 2/3 of the hike.
