We hiked this on a 100 degree day. We thought we stared early but one person on the way down asked if why we wanted to punish ourselves. The rocks were like an oven on the way down. The flowers and views of the Hood were beautiful. I said I’d never do it again but it’s been a couple of weeks. I’m considering doing it again on a much cooler day!
