A perfect day – fabulous views all the way up. We started at 6:45 and a few groups were starting at the same time. Only a few other people wore masks, but it wasn’t super crowded so everyone was fairly spread out.  The long (neverending!) boulder field followed by the trails on ash made this hike longer and more difficult than other trails, both on the way up and way down.  Well worth it, though – so beautiful!  Most people seemed to stop as soon as they got to the very top, but the actual peak is actual a further hike to the left.  We enjoyed exploring the ridge up yo the peak!
