Maiden Peak

It was around 40 degrees when we started out after 7 am. Trail takes you through the forest full of witches hair. About 1 mile in us Skyline creek with a good flow. Otherwise no water. Smoke from wildfires lingered in air making breathing a bit difficult. Scramble to top has loose rocks. View was obscured from wildfire smoke but you could see South Sister. Lots of glass, and nails at peak. Watch dogs paws and where you sit!!!!  Metal  in a pile as well.
