This hike is a butt burner but well worth it for the views at the top. The incline starts as soon as the trail spilts from the Pratt Lake trail. You get your first view as you cross the avalanche shoot. The second half is this hike is mostly exposed so bring sun screen. The lookout tower isn’t currently open but you still get fantastic views.
