Weather was perfect: high 60’s and sunny! I did a solo hike carrying the American Flag. People commented it was patriotic. It was Memorial Day weekend and I carried it that day for all the brothers and sisters in arms I’ve lost and that have died in service to their country. I felt so grateful for life and to be able to summit that day.
