Defaulted to this hike since Gorgonio and Bernardino were closed due to the El Dorado fire. It was a pleasant hike and the weather was perfect. Great hike to escape the heat and to just get out. Scenery was nice, plenty of shade and not many people at all. A bit of a drive from Orange County but well worth it if you need to escape the heat and to try a different mountain that’s not crowded.
