We started early on one of the hottest days of the year. When we got high enough, we saw that the ridge on the other side was burning!! What do we do? Eventually, we called the ranger and they said we should be fine, just don’t stay over night. So, we headed to summit took the photos, celebrated a group of our friends that finished the challenge and headed back down. We got home safely… but it surely was an adventure.
