This was by far the hardest peak for me – didn't sleep well the night before which most likely contributed to my overall performance. But there's a lot of elevation gain in a shorter amount of time.
The trail was a lot of stepping up on rocks + boulders which was hard on my knees coming down. This is my least favorite way to gain elevation – by climbing/stepping up rocks. To get to the peak you must scramble up boulders. Probably rate the scramble at a 2.
There's a cabin probably about a quarter mile from the top of the peak – so once you spot it you know that you're almost there.
Take care on the way down the entire trail – I stepped wrong from a larger rock and tweaked my ankle a bit. I wasn't terribly injured but the constant stepping down from larger rocks proved to wear me out more mentally than physically.
