We arrived late from Escondido on purpose to avoid traffic. We tried going up the Ski-hut trail for the first time, and found it almost as difficult going up as coming down. There were a number of people at the summit when we arrived, many of them working on the Six Pack of Peaks. The weather warmed up as we headed down. Thankfully there are more trail signs and marker posts than there used to be, making it easier to stay on the trail up and down.
