Sawmill Mountain – Lots of Snow!

I expected some snow to be there, but was surprised when I arrived at Nordic Base how much was there.  Almost the entire trail had snow on it, mostly from a couple inches to about 6″ deep.  There were a few drifts with snow closer to 12″ deep.  There wasn’t much ice on the trail, just snow.   It was a beautiful day with blue skies, but it did get chilly as the sun went down.  I was also able to summit Grouse Mountain, which meant I qualified for the 3-2-1 Challenge.
