Mount Elden Short and Sweet

I really enjoyed this hike! It was a short 6 miles ( even though the trail says 5). A good climb with rocks and some steeper sections. Trail covered by trees in patches which meant that there were a few patches with snow and one with a bit of ice. Highly recommend poles especially at this tome of year. A huge treat was the clear crisp blue skies with temps in the 50-60s. Started at 8 and back down by noon with stead steps and a small break at the top to enjoy the view. Lovely!
