Wassup Wasson?!?!

King Canyon parking lot is still under construction so I had to park in the Desert Museum parking lot. It’s right across from the trailhead but apparently the parking lot golf card police frown upon hikers parking there. The hike grades out as a moderate hike which is appropriate. Lots of loose rock along the trek which can be annoying but hey… you’re outside in nature, right?! Not a lot of traffic as we got a 7:00 am start… maybe saw a dozen hikers/runners over the 7 miles. Perfect temperature with a nice breeze there whole day. Great way to start the 6 Peak Challenge!!!
